TNT plays Bruckheimer TV's 'Pawn'

PlagemanTNT is the latest stop on the Bruckheimer TV development express.The cabler is in the early stage of developing a project from scribe Greg Plageman. "Bishop to Pawn," produced by Warner Horizon TV, revolves around a private investigator who runs his business out of his Los Angeles pawn shop.Jerry Bruckheimer, Plageman and Bruckheimer TV topper Jonathan Littman will exec produce, with KristieAnne Reed set as co-exec producer."Pawn" is one of five high-profile projects that Bruckheimer has set up at major nets with hefty development commitments for the coming pilot season.Bruckheimer TV is developing a 1980s-set wrestling drama with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson for NBC. It's tackling Navy Seals for ABC and a mother-turned-NY state trooper story for CBS. Percolating at Fox is "Full Nelson," a departure from the procedurals vein that revolves around the showbiz experiences of veteran music supervisor Kathy Nelson.The burst of activity comes after Bruckheimer TV had a tough pilot season this year, with no new scripted series ordered by the Big Four for the fall primetime sked.Bruckheimer TV previously ventured into the cable drama field with TNT cop show "Dark Blue," which had a two-season run in 2009 and 2010. Plageman has been a regular in the Bruckheimer TV scribe stable, working on CBS' "Cold Case" and NBC's "Chase."At present he's co-showrunner with Jonathan Nolan on J.J.
